What You Need to Know
Project Overview: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is upgrading Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in North Scottsdale between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard to improve traffic flow. The project includes adding one lane in each direction and modifying key interchanges.

Estimated Completion: Early 2026 (yikes!)
🔴 Upcoming Closures & Detours
🚦 Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard at Loop 101
Nightly Closures: March 14-17 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.)
Full Weekend Closure: March 21 (9 p.m.) – March 24 (5 a.m.)
Detours:
Eastbound: Use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive, then take the northbound frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.
Westbound: Use the northbound frontage road to westbound Bell Road, then take the southbound frontage road back to Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.
🚧 Southbound Loop 101 Off-Ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd
Closure Starts: March 24, lasting approximately 60 days
Detour: Drivers can exit at Princess Drive/Pima Road and use the southbound frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.
⚠️ Other Lane Restrictions:
Expect overnight lane restrictions and weekend closures on Loop 101 and surrounding streets.
Access to businesses and residences will remain open.
