Part of North Scottsdale
Golf, granite, and elevation.
Troon North is an 1,800-acre master-planned golf community in far-north Scottsdale, laid out along Dynamite Boulevard in the foothills north of Pinnacle Peak. Development began in 1989 and is largely complete today, spread across roughly thirteen gated and semi-gated enclaves.

It is defined by its golf and its terrain. Troon North Golf Club’s Monument and Pinnacle courses, both Tom Weiskopf designs, rank among the best in the country, and the Pinnacle has been called the number one course in Arizona. The homes were built into a landscape of granite boulders, arroyos, and old saguaros, which is why so many lots capture mountain, sunset, and city-light views you simply cannot get further south.
What sets Troon North apart
Why buyers choose this corridor over the master plans closer in.
Two top-ranked courses
The Monument and Pinnacle courses, both Tom Weiskopf designs. Pinnacle has been named the number one course in Arizona by Golf Magazine and Golf Week.
Semi-private access
Troon North Golf Club is semi-private, so residents get club access and memberships without an equity buy-in. Rare at this caliber.
The desert setting
Granite boulder outcroppings, ancient saguaros, and desert arroyos. The homes were designed around the landscape, not on top of it.
Higher elevation
Set in the foothills north of Pinnacle Peak, Troon North runs noticeably cooler than the valley floor below.
Gated throughout
Nearly every subdivision is gated, across roughly thirteen distinct enclaves inside the master plan.
A real range of homes
Townhomes and production homes at the entry, semi-custom in the middle, and custom estates on elevated view lots at the top.
Schools
Cave Creek Unified, not Scottsdale Unified.
Troon North sits north of the Scottsdale Unified boundary, in the Cave Creek Unified District. This catches a lot of buyers off guard, so verify the assigned schools by exact address.

Life in Troon North
World-class golf, preserve trails, and desert quiet.
Troon North Golf Club
A 37,000-square-foot clubhouse anchors both courses, with dining at the Dynamite Grille seven days a week.
Pinnacle Peak Park
The landmark trail and park sit just south, with the McDowell Sonoran Preserve stretching beyond it.
Four Seasons Resort
Views
The Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North is next door, with resort dining and spa minutes from home.
Elevated lots capture Pinnacle Peak, the Boulders, desert sunsets, and Valley city lights.
Hiking & trails
Tom’s Thumb, Browns Ranch, and the preserve trailheads are all within a short drive.
Quiet by design
Far-north Scottsdale trades a central location for space, silence, and dark skies.
Why work with us
Troon North is not Troon Village.
The first thing to know is that Troon North and Troon Village are not the same place. Troon Village surrounds Troon Mountain and is anchored by the private Troon Country Club. Troon North is its own master plan with a semi-private club. Buyers conflate them constantly, and the difference shows up in price, access, and dues.

Add in thirteen enclaves, a wide spread between a townhome and a custom estate, and view premiums that move value more than square footage does, and this is a corridor where the right read matters. We know it, and we price and market accordingly.
